I met Vince at Barney's breakfast bar(no longer serves food) on a rainy day, he was on a 8 hour lay over and did what so many do, get wasted in Amsterdam.
Vince stopped smoking half way though a joint saying he was to stoned and had to maintain as he called it " the 3C's, cool calm and collected", i agreed mentioning how many people i had seen getting so high that they nearly pass out, which is not clever! So it was then transformed into the 4C's, cool, calm, collected and clever.
As Vince smiled and walked out another stranger came to sit across from me, he was Mike from Brazil, Mike sat down and rolled the strongest joint i have ever seen, it was huge and pure but to top it off he added half a gram of Violator Iceolator( which is a super strong very oily hash). I sat waiting for what i knew was about to happen, he lit up, the smoke from the oily hash filled the room, he took a few pulls and passed it to me, it was lovely, but very strong, to strong for someone like him, and sure enough after half the joint he had to put it down and lay on his arms, the next 30min where spent babysitting him back to life, for which he was thankful. He left as soon as he was able to walk again.
If only he had gone by the 4C's................ he may have had a smile on his face to.
